In short. A few quibbles aside, I really liked the film. I was pleasantly surprised. And *sigh* Harry/Draco is love.

I'm only posting this because cutecoati, _lady_narcissa_ and I had a rather in-depth discussion in my LJ a few days ago about HP movie casting, Bellatrix's part specifically and the dangers of stunt-casting. I know everyone is excited about Ralph Fiennes getting cast as Voldemort (me too), but I'm a disappointed that they cast Miranda Richardson as Rita Skeeter. I think she would have been great as Bellatrix LaStrange. I remember her playing evil Queen Mab in Merlin about five years back.
